Application Process

Once you have reviewed all DBIs and short electives the application is just one click away!

Please have your current resume ready to upload, include a short statement of interest for the programs of your choice(s).

Deadlines:

  • Fall 2026 applications (listed on program pages)
  • Winter 2027 applications are due September 15 for all programs offered between January and March.
  • Spring/Summer 2027 applications are due February 1

Please note:

Students who participate in DBIs cannot “skip” class at UNC Kenan-Flagler but instead should either adjust their schedule to take classes that do not conflict or take the penalty for missing class.

There will be a nonrefundable $150 placement fee for each DBI you accept.
