Application Process

Once you have reviewed all DBIs and short electives the application is just one click away!

Please have your current resume ready to upload, include a short statement of interest for the programs of your choice(s).

Coming up deadlines:

  • Spring & Summer DBIs are due February 1 for all May and summer programs.
  • Winter applications are due September 1 for all programs offered between December and March.

Please note: Students who participate in DBIs cannot “skip” class at UNC Kenan-Flagler but instead should either adjust their schedule to take classes that do not conflict or take the penalty for missing class.

There will be a nonrefundable $150 placement fee for each DBI you accept.
