Fall DBIs
New as of Academic Year 2024-25: There will be a $150 placement fee for anyone who accepted a DBI.
Students are not allowed to skip classes to participate in DBIs. Please be sure to review your course schedule to avoid conflicts.
- DBI programs have a program fee (administrative fee) that is payable directly to the partner school. This would cover course material, some meals, cultural tours, etc. In case it also covers hotel, a note is added.
- Short intensive electives are just courses and most do not have a program fee, unless they offer a cultural program alongside. (example Warwick).
- For all programs offered, UNC Kenan-Flagler participants pay tuition for the credits earned to UNC. There is no tuition due to the host university, just a program fee. For FT MBA students this is part of the flat tuition fee, for everyone else it is per credit for the course you choose.
- VA benefits excluded for DBI programs
- Calendar check: Please make sure your academic calendar does allow for you to apply and participate if selected.
